What is Friends of the Reedy River?
It's really a story of our past, our present, and our future and we hope you'll become part of it.
Our Past: Since 1993, Friends of the Reedy River has brought people together to restore and protect a river that was once overlooked, proving what a passionate community can accomplish.
Our Present: Today, we continue that mission through river cleanups, habitat restoration, water quality monitoring, and fun, educational community events like our By-the-Banks Speaker Series. Whether you're here to learn something new, meet great people, or simply enjoy a local beer, you're already helping build a stronger community around the Reedy River.
Our Future: As Greenville grows, so does the need to protect the river we all enjoy. Our vision is simple: a community where everyone has a role in keeping the Reedy River healthy.
And there's no better place to do that than Wild Yarrow Brewing, a welcoming neighborhood brewery where great conversations, local beer, a grill cheese food truck, and community come together. Grab a drink, bring a friend, and stay awhile. You just might leave inspired to make a difference.
